The
Wire Magazine
NEW
EXHIBIT @ WALLFLOWER GALLERY
Added 8/10/2001 When it comes
to local talent and fun weekends, you can’t go wrong at the Wallflower
Gallery in Downtown Miami. There’s always something there for just about
anyone. And it’s a nice place to simply unwind while listening to local
music, local poets, or viewing local artists’ exhibits.
Last Thursday, for example, The Wallflower Gallery hosted an artistic
opening featuring the works of local talents, Paul Lewin and David Sauma.
These highly-stylized artists presented a selection of fine art with their
own personal direction and unique flavor. Paul Lewin portrayed a science
fiction reality with highly contoured landscapes, bizarre characters, and
an underlying tone that transcended normal parameters of creative design
with painted detail. David Sauma utilized a combination of digital
photography, paintings, and unique settings to demonstrate the creative
realms specifically designed to portray the imaginative wilderness of his
mindscape. Some of Wire photographer Tom Franks works were used by David
for his paintings.
These exhibits will be on featured display through Monday, Aug. 20. So
drop by to see what’s happening at a very local, very wonderful gallery
that welcoming of everyone. 10 N.E. 3rd Street, Downtown Miami.
